Filmed live at a school in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, you’ll see Gary perform two very different shows: on Disc 1, you’ll see The Magic Show, but perhaps that should be The Laughter Show! After Gary's introduction, he has the children eating out of his hand. That’s followed by Axtell’s Off The Meter (a great rabble-rouser!); then there’s Twentieth Century Silks like you’ve never seen it before; a very funny balloon sequence; a puppet routine with Colin the Chicken; Practical Magic’s Picture Fun with a very different presentation and a hilarious Slush Powder routine called Watch the Water! In one sense, the tricks aren’t important: it’s the entertainment and the laughter! You can apply these techniques to ANY tricks.
On Disc 2, Gary presents The Show With (Almost!) No Props – over 30 minutes of non-stop fun using little more than a microphone! This is the act he presented at Kidology in 2010, but here it’s presented in front of 200 children.
And as if all that wasn’t enough, we’re including a FREE bonus of Gary performing a stand-out 45 minute act of ‘The Love Story’. This last was filmed live at a holiday camp in 2010. It is not studio quality (though the quality is good), but it shows Gary putting into practice what he’s been showing in the other two shows – how to ENTERTAIN.
